ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Central Washington University women's rugby team's (3-5) season concluded Saturday morning after falling in the semifinal of the D1A Playoffs to Lindenwood (9-1) by a final score of 5-29.

"The team fought for 80 minutes today, and fought for each other," CWU women's rugby's Head Coach Matt Ramirez said. "There were some great moments from this young squad in the match against a solid opponent. Outcomes vary, but extremely proud of them for knowing the task at hand and backing and trusting each other to get it done. This team's connection has shown on and off the field all year. Very thankful for this team and staff."

The Wildcats' lone try was made by Kahiwalani Kahalepuna in the 57th Minute.

The Crimson and Black set its eye forward to the next season.
